On December 6, 2022, one 7.6m SATCOM radome for Satellite Data Receiving Station of the Faculty of Science and Technology was installed by HARBIN TOPFRP COMPOSITE CO., LTD at the Hengqin Campus of the University of Macau. The station mainly provides big data support of remote sensing for the University of Macao and its“A Key Laboratory”, which has been approved by the State, to carry out relevant research.
The 7.6m sandwich radome is the third set of radomes put into use by TOPFRP in Macau following the 11m ATC radome at the Macau Airport in May 2011, and the 12.5m SATCOME radome at the Macau University of Science and Technology in January 2022.
